The Inn enjoyrs visitors from around the world, many of whom return to the Inn on a regular basis when they are in the Chicagoland area. The Inn has also planned and staged weddings for our international guests whose first time to visit the Inn is the day before their special event. Countries include: New Zealand, Australia, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Scotland, Ireland, England, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Canada, Brazil, Guam, Brazil, & Mexico
Room Diaries: Since the Inn opened on December 7th, 1995, we have placed a bound diary on each desk. We never stated a purpose, but many of our guests subsequently chose to write about their circumstances for their stay and their experience at the Inn. A sampling of comments from over the years …
In one word—EXCELLENT !! All of the added touches made our stay extra special. Relaxing, peaceful and tranquil—very much needed. Thank you. My husband brought me here as a surprise for my birthday—WOW—what a surprise, this place is beautiful. We come from China. It’s the first time for me to come to America. It’s the nice place and the Inn is comfortable. I and my colleague are very satisfied. [written in Chinese character and in English] What a great time. The room was just beautiful and very relaxing. This was a wedding anniversary present from our son. It was a great choice. Here we are, again. Nothing says “romance” like this beautiful Inn. Thank you for a wonderful, stress relief experience. Kind people, beautiful place, service very good, food was top class—Everything A+. We’ll be back. Beautiful & romantic. My girl friend treated me to a secret birthday getaway. The setting was that of a fully staffed home away from home. You are right up there with my favorite places and I have been to many in various parts of our country and world.
